Lord, you were like us in all things but sin. You knew temptation in the wilderness. You knew what it was to feel abandoned. I now feel myself mightily drawn toward sin and away from your loving company. You seem to have already left me. Lord, I cry out to you. Be with me now in this hour of trial. Help me to be faithful to you and to your love even as you were faithful to me, even to the point of dying for me on the Cross.
Holy Mary, Holy Mother, pray for me now.
Holy Guardian Angels, help me now.
